PumpaidEthical Goods is proud to support as its first charity partner, Pumpaid. Pump Aid tackles poverty by working with local communities in Zimbabwe and Malawi to establish sustainable supplies of clean water and sanitation. The long-term effects of Pump Aid's work ensure improved health and increased agricultural production. Working with communities to achieve this is essential to Pump Aid, all elements of the programme are sourced, supported and sustained by the communities themselves.

Ethical Goods has a restricted Pump Aid account where donations are held, separate to working capital, while they verify that donations match sales. Each Ethical Goods donation will allow Pump Aid to:
  • install Elephant pumps for clean water
  • provide materials for Elephant Toilets
  • empower the local community through installation / maintenance training
  • deliver crucial health and hygiene education
Pump Aid will provide Ethical Goods with a monthly report outlining the number of pumps and toilets they have built in the field.

For every toilet and pump constructed they will provide a location name, GPS coordinates and a photograph, which we will add in to Google Maps for you to view where your donation is working. Pump Aid are obliged to spend the money on financing the Elephant Toilet and pump sanitation programme, and overhead costs associated with this programme.
